These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Botiquito ("the app", "we"), an app that helps families coordinate their children's medication, health, and care. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Botiquito is an organization and coordination tool for caregivers: medication reminders, dose history, vaccine schedules, doctor visit logs, growth and fever tracking, and a doctor directory and medicine-cabinet stock tracker.
Botiquito is NOT a medical service, does not replace the judgment of a healthcare professional, and does not provide diagnosis or treatment guidance. Any decision about doses, schedules, medications, or treatment should be based on the guidance of a licensed doctor or healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services, not this app.
Botiquito is meant to be used by the adults responsible for a child (parents, guardians) and by the caregivers those adults invite (another caregiver, school, babysitter). It isn't designed for minors to use directly.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter (medications, doses, your child's data) and for keeping it up to date.
Each family has an owner (the Parent/Guardian who created the family account), who can invite other people with different access levels: another Parent/Guardian (sees and edits everything, including the child's profile, but does not manage the plan or roles), Caregiver (sees the profile but cannot edit it) or School/babysitter (minimal access). The family owner is responsible for deciding who to invite, what access to grant, and removing a caregiver when appropriate.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Let us know if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Botiquito offers a free plan with limited features and a paid plan with additional features, managed through RevenueCat and the app stores (App Store / Google Play). Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period, subject to the billing and cancellation terms of the store you purchased from (Apple or Google) — those store terms also apply and take precedence on billing, refunds, and cancellation.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings in the relevant store. Cancelling doesn't automatically refund the period already in progress, unless the store's policy says otherwise.
You may not: use the app for purposes other than coordinating your family's health care, attempt to compromise the app's security or access another family's data, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law.
We make a reasonable effort to keep the app and its reminders working reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Factors outside our control (connectivity, OS settings, device battery optimization) can affect whether a notification arrives on time. Don't rely solely on Botiquito for critical or urgent health decisions.
The app, its design, branding, and code belong to Botiquito or its licensors. You retain ownership of the data you enter about your family; you grant us only the permission needed to store and process it in order to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Botiquito is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for medical decisions made based on information logged in the app, nor for damages arising from a missed notification, a connectivity error, or misuse of the app by a caregiver invited to your family.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or poses a security risk to other users.
We may update these Terms. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know inside the app. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina.
